Senior/Intermediate Procurement Specialist for its Kemptville, ON, facility.
Job Summary:
Kavveri Telecom, the parent company of Spotwave Wireless Ltd, Til-Tek Antennae Inc. and DCI Digital Communications Inc. are seeking to fill a position in Kemptville for a Senior/Intermediate level Procurement Specialist with a proven background in purchasing and managing suppliers. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing suppliers within the electronics industry, have strong negotiation skills and be able to multi-task effectively. As well, this candidate must be well spoken, fluent in the English language and must be able to have good rapport when dealing with suppliers. The role would entail purchasing materials for the all three of the Kavveri Subsidiaries.
In this role, the candidate must have the following skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of solid background in Supply Chain Management
• Diploma in related field, ideally Business Administration or similar
• Have a good working knowledge of negotiations and managing suppliers
• Posses the ability to multi-task effectively
• Thorough understanding of inventory management
• Be energetic and posses exceptional communication skills
• Be self motivated and have strong organization skills
• Posses solid MS Excel and Microsoft PC skills
• Approachable and works well with people
• Proficient in the English language(written and verbal)
• Have good decision making skills
• Proven ability to interfaced with customers
Desirable skills would include:
• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
• MS Access database management
• Proficiency on MS Office tools
• Any IT experience
This position is for a temporary position to start with high probability to become a permanent employee given demand continues to increase.
