We are seeking a self-motivated Sales Representative for an industry-leading company experiencing rapid growth. The Sales Representative is responsible for converting leads into revenue as well as uncovering and closing new accounts. This position is an interim step, progressing into an Account Manager role in the next 18-24 months. EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of the antenna marketplace, the competitors and their offerings.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Solid business acumen coupled with technology expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to stay on top of multiple sales opportunities through the use of Microsoft Outlook and Salesforce (CRM).
- Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a strong team spirit.
- Proficient at and enjoy cold-calling.
- Entrepreneurial attitude.
- Computer literacy.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Contributing to the successful increase in revenues and market share of TIL-TEK by ensuring an effective and proactive approach is taken toward proposal development and future business opportunities.
- Ensuring TIL-TEK’s database is maintained and updated with client information and prospective activities and opportunities.
- Cold calling to prospective clients.
- Replying to responses from direct mail campaigns.
- Maintaining an awareness and knowledge of competitors’ strategies.
- Ensuring proactive communication strategies are utilized to keep clients informed of new products, services and issues.
- Participation in trade shows and conferences.
- Some travel within North America will be required as part of this position.
- Promoting a positive corporate image of TIL-TEK by ensuring that appropriate and specified standards are maintained in all sales, support and delivery activities.
