TIL-TEK Announces 900 MHz Omni Antenna Product Enhancements
Kemptville, Ontario, April 4, 2005 - TIL-TEK Antennas a world leader in the design and manufacture of base station, CPE and directional antennas solutions, recently announced the latest modification and product enhancement to its 900 MHz workhorse omni directional antenna. The enhancement to this long time staple of TIL-TEK's product offering is a result of key customer input on what they would like from this versatile and reliable antenna product.
 The latest enhancements to the TA-952 features are a wider operating band of 901-940 MHz. The antenna features a 9.5 dBd (11.7 dBi) gain, is vertically polarized and features a 360 degree H-Plane and 5 (+/-0.5) degree E-Plane beamwidth. The TA-952 is capable of handling up to 500 watts with an impedance of 50 Ohms with a Type N Female input on the bottom and is also available with an optional 7/16 DIN input. TIL-TEK designed this antenna to withstand the severe environments that its worldwide customers deploy this antenna in. This TA-952 and other TIL-TEK models are designed to meet all EIA standards. The physical measurements of this omni directional antenna are 184-in (4674 mm) long by 2.25-in (57.2 mm) diameter. The tower interface for the TA-952 is a 1.75-4.0 in (44.5 -102 mm) O.D. mast pipe. The TA-952 is manufactured with a broadband copper radiating elements mounted to an aluminum base and protected by a gray UV stabilized ASA radome for superior durability and reliable performance over the life of the antenna. All TIL-TEK antennas are DC ground to aid in lightning protection.
